Cherupalli Vivek Teja (born 29 August 1992) is an Indian martial artist who hails from Nalgonda district, Telangana state, India. He has been a martial arts fighter for 22 years who has participated in over 21 International championships across the globe. Vivek Teja, bearer of 27 Gold Medals, 18 Silver medals and 16 Bronze Medals in International, National & State level Championships.

The only lifetime goal and aim is to achieve an Olympic Gold in 2024 Karate. I also want to build a Martial Arts academy with International standards. I’m proud to partner with my sponsors & organizations that place an emphasis on and share my interest in giving back to the community.

Vivek Teja is also the founder of the Human Weapon International, a self-defense training organization. Vivek Teja has a track record of success in conducting training camps & workshops at various places for thousands of youth, especially girls & women from different walks of life including the corporate conglomerates in Hyderabad and surrounding districts and all around the world. As a result he has coached more than 20000+ women and girls in the art of self-defense.

Career
Cherupalli Vivek Teja represented India in 2018 & 2022 Commonwealth Karate Championships.

USA Open Gold Medalist (Kumite -84 weight category) at the US Open International Karate Championship, 2018 & 2019, which was held in Las Vegas, United States. Vivek has 60 medals under his belt, 27 of them being gold. In 2019, Vivek Teja was selected to represent the Indian Karate team in the WKF Karate 1 Series A Championship (WKF Ranking Tournament for Olympic 2020 standing), which was held in South America, Santiago, Chile, from 20 to 22 September.

Previously, in 2019, Vivek had won the WGKF World Championship Silver Medal in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Vivek Teja also plays the role of coach and instructor to his sister, Ramya Tejaswini Cherupalli, who is also a gold and bronze medalist in international karate championships.
